Let’s help more women have the freedom to experience a fresh start!
"By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures."
HIM4Her Housing is a unique opportunity for women who have been released from prison or a treatment program to live in an affordable, rural setting home. This is not a treatment program, but an opportunity to encourage and mentor Christian women to live a redeemed and renewed life walking in faith. Our Housing ministry helps bridge the gap physically, financially, emotionally and spiritually for women who are ready for a new beginning.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to gain true freedom and healing. Therefore, we use a faith-based approach in all of our programing and support. HIM4Her Housing provides a “village mentorship” approach. We believe that a positive environment, supported by encouraging community will help set women free on a path of success.
The Revive Home is a 6-bedroom home in Carver County that provides our residents adequate structure and accountability, with enough freedom to live their own lives. The majority of our residents work full-time jobs while meeting the expectations of the HIM4Her Mentoring program. These principles are in place to ensure that our residents have enough support to flourish in their post-prison recovery. We also request that our residents:
Live a life free of substance and alcohol abuse
Agree to meet weekly with HIM4Her Mentors and engage with ministry support contacts as needed
Participate in weekly home meetings, Celebrate Recovery Meetings and Bible Study groups
Understand this home is not set up for children or pets to reside in or stay overnight
Honor visiting hours only on weekends and daily quiet time hours
Supply their own food and meals
Be responsible to maintain a clean home, assist with chores and home maintenance and be mentored in these areas of home ownership
